Applebee’s Potato Skins Recipe

If Applebee’s Potato Skins is one of Your Favorite Appetizers, You will LOVE making them at Home with our Easy Recipe.

Ingredients
  • 10 Baked Potato Halves
  • 1 tablespoon melted Butter
  • Seasoned Salt, to taste
  • Filling
  • 3/4 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 5 strips cooked Bacon, crumbled
  • 1 Green Onion, sliced thin
  • Garnish / Dip
  • Sour Cream and/or Ranch Dressing
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Remove as much of the potato flesh as you can, leaving only the skins. (You know what potato boats look like. Do that.)
  3. Brush potato shells with butter. Season with salt.
  4. Place on a baking sheet. Place in preheated oven and bake for 15 - 20 minutes, until nice and crisp.
  5. Remove potato boats from oven.
  6. Sprinkle with cheese. Add bacon and onion.
  7. Place boats back in the oven for 6 - 8 minutes, until the cheese has melted.
  8. Serve with sour cream and/or ranch dressing.
