Applebee's Nachos Nuevos Recipe

If You enjoy good Nachos, You will LOVE making Applebee's Nachos Nuevos at Home with our Easy Recipe.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup Ground Beef or Chuck, cooked, crumbled fine and well-drained
  • 1 packet Taco Seasoning Mix
  • 1 Large bag Tortilla Chips
  • One 6-ounce jar Queso Cheese Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Black Beans, drained, rinced and well-drained again
  • 1/4 cup diced Tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup shredded Lettuce
  • Dollop of Sour Cream
  • JalapeƱo Slices, to taste
Instructions
  1. Place prepared ground beef or chuck in a medium bowl.
  2. Add taco seasoning mix. Mix well. Set aside and keep warm. (Reheat in the microwave before using if necessary.)
  3. Spread tortilla chips on a large plate or serving platter. Really pile them up.
  4. Place queso cheese sauce in a small, microwaveable bowl. Heat in the microwave until warm.
  5. Spread warm cheese evenly over the nachos.
  6. Spread warm seasoned beef evenly over the nachos.
  7. Spread beans and tomatoes evenly over the nachos.
  8. Place a small mound of shredded lettuce atop the nachos.
  9. Finish with a dollop of sour cream.
  10. Serve immediately while still warm.

TIP - Placing the nachos in a medium oven for about 3 - 5 minutes before building will make them crunchier and (maybe) taste a little more homemade.
